AI replies and reusable templates across the web

Use AI when every answer is different. Use a saved snippet when the wording already works. Keyjot keeps both at the cursor, so the reply workflow stays the same even when the website changes.

Reply anywhere

Turn selected text into a reply

Highlight the message on a webpage, click the field where you want to answer, and open Keyjot. Add one line of intent and get a context-aware response in your chosen tone.

Three seconds, start to send

Four real screen recordings of the extension — nothing staged. They start muted; unmute any clip for the walkthrough.

01 — CORE INTERACTION

One hotkey builds the whole reply

Press ⌘; inside any input and the command window opens right at your cursor. In the clip, 1 drops in the greeting — its {{recipient}} placeholder asks for the name first — and 2 signs the message off. No floating button, ever.

Ctrl+; → 1 → “David” → Enter → 2 · 14s
02 — AI COMPOSE

Draft a full reply from one line

Select the message you’re answering and Keyjot reads it. Add a one-line key point, press Tab to cycle the tone, and it drafts the body — your greeting and signature wrap around it automatically. The clip is a real Gemini call, start to finish.

One line of intent → draft → inserted at the caret · 13s
03 — TEMPLATE LIBRARY

Write it once, hit a number key

Build a library of the replies you send most, each on a hotkey 19. Typing {{ }} in the body auto-creates a fillable variable — the clip adds a recipient and an order number — so those are never left in by accident.

New template → number key 9 → two auto-detected variables · 5s
04 — YOUR KEYBOARD, YOUR RULES

Rebind the trigger to anything

The default is ⌘; / Ctrl+;, but the clip re-records it to Ctrl K in a single keystroke — and the insert behaviour, like auto-spacing around what gets pasted in, toggles right next to it.

Toggle a behaviour → record a new combo · 5s

About the Keyjot Chrome extension

What is Keyjot?

Keyjot is an AI reply and text expander Chrome extension. A keyboard shortcut opens a command window beside your cursor, where you can generate a reply from the surrounding message or insert one of your saved response templates.

Does Keyjot really work in any text field?

Keyjot works in standard inputs, textareas, and rich-text fields on normal websites, including Slack in the browser, LinkedIn, support consoles, forums, CRMs, and web forms. Browser-protected pages and some custom editors can block extensions, so “any text field” means standard editable fields on regular HTTP and HTTPS websites.

How does Keyjot read a message on any website?

Select the message or relevant text on the page before opening Keyjot. The selection becomes the context for the AI reply; you add one line describing what you want to say. This selection-based workflow works across normal websites instead of depending on one site-specific integration.

How is Keyjot different from TextExpander or Magical?

Classic text expanders focus on replacing typed shortcuts. Keyjot combines numbered templates, fillable variables, and a keyboard command window with AI that can draft a new response from the message you are answering. See the detailed TextExpander alternatives and Magical alternatives comparisons before switching.

Does Keyjot store or track my message text?

Message text is used only when needed to generate your reply. It is never included in analytics, and neither drafts, templates, nor key points are sent as usage events. See the privacy policy for the full data-handling details.

How much does Keyjot cost?

A one-time access pass unlocks Keyjot and includes 100 AI reply tokens. Each generated reply uses one token; saved templates and hotkeys are unlimited, and additional token packs are available as optional top-ups.
